Easter weekend is fast approaching! Many people around the world acknowledge Jesus: his ultimate sacrifice and resurrection. As Christians, the focal point of our faith is God’s ultimate sacrifice, as Jesus – his only son, died in remission for our sins. The heart of the Gospel can be found in John 3:16, where we read: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. The “7 Words” (key statements) Christ spoke on the cross of Calvary, each holds an important message for the Church to learn from and the give insight into Jesus’ mission on earth and how He was able to utter triumphantly: “It is finished!”.

Join us this Good Friday to commemorate Christ’s sacrifice, in order to take away the sins of the world and on Easter Sunday as we celebrate Jesus’ triumph over death and resurrection. The Scripture reminds us that, Jesus’ resurrection reassures that our faith is not in vain. Jesus is alive and well! Seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding on all of humanity’s behalf. Let us give honor and all praise to He who is worthy!

¡El fin de semana de Pascua se acerca rápidamente! Muchas personas en todo el mundo reconocen a Jesús: su último sacrificio y resurrección. Como cristianos, el punto central de nuestra fe es el sacrificio máximo de Dios, ya que Jesús -- su único hijo, murió en remisión por nuestros pecados. El corazón del Evangelio se puede encontrar en Juan 3:16, donde leemos: “Porque tanto amó Dios al mundo que dio a su Hijo unigénito para que todo aquel que en él cree, no perezca, sino que tenga vida eterna. Las “7 palabras” (declaraciones clave) que Cristo habló en la cruz del Calvario, cada una contiene un mensaje importante para que la Iglesia aprenda y dé una idea de la misión de Jesús en la tierra y de cómo pudo pronunciar triunfalmente: ¡Consumado Es!".

Únase a nosotros este Viernes Santo para conmemorar el sacrificio de Cristo, para quitar los pecados del mundo y el Domingo de Pascua, mientras celebramos el triunfo de Jesús sobre la muerte y la resurrección. La Escritura nos recuerda que, la resurrección de Jesús reafirma que nuestra fe no es en vano. ¡Jesús está vivo y bien! Sentados a la derecha del Padre, intercediendo en nombre de toda la humanidad. ¡Demos honor y toda alabanza al que es digno!

¡Felices Pascuas! Bendita primavera cuando el invierno termina y la belleza del amor de Dios se deleita en la bondad de la creación de Dios.
